Reclaiming our Yin Energy

Apr 09, 2025

Where Does My Heart Want to Be Today?

This was the centering question I returned to in the midst of all the noise today. I paused, allowed myself to feel for just a moment—and realized my heart was yearning to experience. To self-express. To breathe.

It’s so easy for our attention to leak. Think about where your mind goes throughout the day—all the stimulation, all the energy scattered in multiple directions. We’re constantly placing our focus in a dozen places at once, trying to balance and spin so many plates.

And then it hit me—this is the program.
This is the loop that dries up our yin energy. It quietly depletes the vitality that life also offers us—the life force of creation itself. There’s this constant pressure, especially on women and mothers, to “get it all done,” to hold it all, to carry it all.

But what if we pulled back?
What if we reclaimed all the energy we’ve been giving to the noise, the expectations, the endless doing?

Can you imagine how much more vitality we’d have to consciously pour into what truly matters? Into what we deeply desire to create—not what’s expected of us. Not what some old program told us we must do to be enough.

When I returned to that question—Where does my heart want to be today?—the answer was simple:
It wants to experience.

It wanted to be heard. To feel. To be seen.
The life force that is me felt stifled—suffocated under the weight of that old story that says I need to hustle, achieve, and tick every box before I can finally be “XYZ.”

There is both complexity and simplicity in the same breath.

So how do we, as women and mothers, shift this paradigm?

How do we end the overstimulating BS that pulls us away from what life truly is—constantly interfering with our creative flow, with the sacred pulse of life itself?

How do we reawaken the courage within us to walk the path our ancestors once walked—one of simplicity and strength?

Especially when that path goes against everything this current world tells us is normal?

The answer, for me, is simple—yet deeply layered.
It begins within. It begins at home.
It begins with a quiet decision to return to the womb—the origin of life itself.
To lean into the mother energy of Mother Earth and Grandmother Moon,
and allow them to nurture, guide, and support us through this shift.

Because walking a different path requires trust, support, and strength.
They carry the same ancient wisdom that lives within us.
Let us allow them to guide us…
as we reawaken the sacred knowing that has always been inside.
